Misaki is a character appearing in Season 2 and Season 3 of Dark Matter. She is portrayed by Ellen Wong.

Biography[]

Misaki Han-Shireikan, is the Commander (han-shireikan) of the Imperial Royal Guard of Ishida. She got the position after the death of the former Commander, Akita. She is skilled in combat and diplomacy and will do whatever she can for Zairon.^[1]

In the past, she was a close childhood friend of Ryo Tetsudo.

She was killed by Two after betraying Ryo by staging a coup, calling him an 'indecisive weakling'. She saw herself as 'the leader this Empire desperately needed' and intended to rule as Empress herself. Misaki had just overpowered Ryo in a fight to the death and was about to deliver the killing blow when Two interfered and poetically stabbed her with her own poisoned blade, finally getting her revenge for the death of Nyx.
